The build took a little over 5 months, almost exactly the same as Mike's estimate, and couldn't have gone smoother. We have no experience of building works we chose Mike over the other quotes not because he was the cheapest, but he was the friendliest and most knowledgeable, and we felt he listened to and understood our needs. 

 

Mike and his team were punctual (8am - 4pm), clean and courteous, the site was always safe and tidy at the end of each day. Understandably there were bumps along the road (a whole drain needed rerouting at one point), but Mike was clear with his communication, and any extra cost was explained. The bill was broken into stages so we only paid for work that had been completed. 

 

We initially thought we would have to move out for a few weeks as the works affected most of the house, however Mike and his team worked around us and kept the house safe and clean. In the end, we felt like the team (Alex, Brad, Joel, Max and Mike) were part of the family and the house felt empty when they left us! Thanks again for all of the teams hard work!
